Upward Bound Students Learn Forensics


On July 6, 2010, Upward Bound students at West Virginia State University participated in forensic science activities. The students learned fingerprint analysis and handwriting analysis.
The activities were conducted by 14 students.

4-H at Pre-College Math & Science Institute



4-H Science activities were recently conducted with 36 youth at the Pre-College Math & Science Institute. The youth participated in fun, hands-on science experiments. During the experiments, youth learned about
  • Forensic science techniques
  • Physical reactions
  • Chemical bonds
  • Surface tension
  • Superabsorbent polymers
  • States of matter

The Pre-College Math & Science Institute is a program of WVSU's Center for the Advancement of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathmatics.
